Mahjong Hand Helper is a digital tool designed for American Mahjong players. The Service provides:

• Hand analysis tools
• Pattern identification and matching
• A searchable reference of NMJL card patterns and variants
• Practice tools for learning the card
• Reading the tiles in a photo of your rack, using an AI model

The Service is not affiliated with or endorsed by the National Mah Jongg League (NMJL).

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

3. Acceptable Use

The Service is provided free of charge for personal, non-commercial gameplay and learning. You agree not to:

• Attempt to reverse engineer or copy the software
• Use the Service for harmful or unlawful purposes
• Scrape, harvest, or systematically download content from the Service
• Send automated or excessive requests to the Service, including to the photo reader
• Send photos of anything other than mahjong tiles, or photos you do not have the right to share

Violation may result in termination of your access to the Service.

4. Intellectual Property

All features, design, code, and content provided by the Service are owned by us and protected by copyright and other laws.

The NMJL card pattern structure and terminology are used for informational and educational purposes.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• Error-free analysis, pattern matching or photo reading
• Compatibility with all devices or browsers
• That the Service will always be available or uninterrupted

We may update features or discontinue parts of the Service at any time.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

• Loss of data
• Loss of profits or gameplay outcomes
• Inaccuracies in hand analysis, pattern matching or photo reading
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the Service is to stop using it.

7. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes become effective when posted on the website. Continued use of the Service means you accept the revised Terms.
